Created in 2017, the Black Sands SurfBoards project started with the idea of combining new 3D printing technology, advanced composites techniques with a circular economy concept: Boards made from Boards!

With 20+ years of experience in Automotive, Motorsports and Aerospace industry, Miguel Montes Burgos and Ignacio Slocker Mira designed, tested and developed a unique production technology to deliver the lightest high performance surfboards on the market.
